UNISA: Dowes Soek TV Onderskrifte/Deaf People Wants TV Subtitles

AFRIKAANS:

ENGLISH:

With the TV research we have been conducting, we have come to realize that even those who knows sign language wants subtitles on television.

We at Unisa have put together a questionaire survey that we are giving to all the deaf people. We also want to know how do the deaf people experience the TV interpreters.

Will you please fill in our survey, and if possible, give this information to all the other deaf people you know? We want the opinion of all the deaf people - not only those that uses sign language.

If you are interested in filling in the survey, send an email to wehrmje@unisa.ac.za.

Also indicate if you want the survey in AFRIKAANS or ENGLISH.

WIN!! WIN!! WIN!!

To encourage people to fill in the survey, we have decided to have a competition - every person who fills in the survey will get a number, and we will do a lucky draw on the 30th of November 2011. The first prize is R1 000, the 2nd prize is R500, and the 3rd prize R250.

We are also thinking of giving the organization who sent in the most surveys, a R1000 prize. But it will go to to a school/church/deaf group/charity.
