I'm in this week's Free State Times newspaper!
A special thanks to Nick van der Leek for the great report.

Here's an excerpt on the report - where I'm mentioned:
Superb athletes, actresses and writers are staple crops produced by Bloemfontein's premier girls' schools, but the City of Roses is also famous for its beautiful women. Vicki Fourie, Miss Deaf South Africa, is one example of a local lady both exceptional and resolute. A motivational speaker, model and writer, Fourie with her wheat-blonde hair is certainly striking. Her looks and confidence earned her 1st Princess at Miss Deaf International in Las Vegas in 2010.
At Miss Deaf World in Prague earlier this year, although she did not win, she was offered a movie role after the crowning ceremony. In 2012 Fourie's memoirs will be published by Naledi Books.
